Our restaurant in the historic building of the former Schlosshotel Lisl has a special atmosphere at all times of the day and night. The large conservatory and three terraces have excellent views of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles. Located above the east wing of Neuschwanstein, you are close to the action – yet far away from the hustle and bustle.

Enjoy our ‘half board with history’ at the Lisl Restaurant - a culinary journey through royal cuisine in 3 courses.  Inspired by the traditional recipes and favourites of the Bavarian monarchs, our kitchen team conjures up modern interpretations of delicacies that delight both the palate and the eye. From the Consommé Royal, refined with a truffle maultasche, to favourite dishes of King Ludwig II such as ‘Hecht'n'Kraut‘ and sweet desserts such as modern interpretations of snow eggs, a fusion of classic and modern awaits you.

Choose from the two daily changing menus – one classic, the other vegetarian, featuring regional ingredients and a royal touch – additionally, our selection menu offers further royal dishes, which you can exchange with menu items as desired.
