The AMERON Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort & Spa in Hohenschwangau, part of the town of Schwangau near Füssen in Allgäu, is one of the first of the new generation of AMERON Collection hotels. Its special character is based on a melting of contrasts, which have been combined both carefully and stylishly.

The foundations of the new AMERON Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort & Spa are created by the three traditional hotels of Alpenrose, Jägerhaus and Schlosshotel Lisl, which have been interwoven with Hohenschwangau for more than 100 years. These have been renovated with the new buildings Galeria and Seehaus to form a whole new – a unit which embodies history while writing the future.
A total of 136 rooms and junior suites, conference facilities, a large spa facility with direct view to the Alpsee and various restaurants will be housed in the large hotel complex.
The combination of tradition and modern continues in the interior of the AMERON Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort & Spa. Warm colours and the use of natural materials such as wood, leather and linen build on the original fittings of the historic buildings with a new contemporary interpretation. Combined with minimalist accessories, discreet accent colours and selected designer furniture, they create an ambience which reflects the tradition of Hohenschwangau as well as its zeitgeist.

FAQs
Do you provide WiFi?
We provide complimentary WiFi in all guest rooms as well as in the lobby and restaurants.
Where can I park my car?
Our hotel parking lot is located across from our resort (right next to P4). The cost is € 14.00 / 24 hours. Drive up first directly to the hotel entrance, at check-in you will then receive your parking ticket for the hotel parking lot.
Do you offer a shuttle service to Füssen train station?
We do not offer a shuttle service. But we are happy to advise you for the best way possible to get there.
Can we buy tickets for the castles directly at the hotel?
Please note that we cannot offer tickets at the hotel and that you can only obtain them at the Ticket Centre Hohenschwangau (200m from our hotel) or online. We recommend that you book your tickets online in good time.
Are there rooms with castle view?
Many of our rooms offer a view of Hohenschwangau Castle or Neuschwanstein Castle. For individual advise, please contact our reservation department or the reception.
Do you have A/C in the rooms?
The buildings Lisl, Galeria and Seehaus are equipped with a comfort ventilation system. Our historical builings Alpenrose and Jägerhaus do not offer A/C.
At what time can I check in?
Check-in time is 3 p.m. The reception is open 24 hours.
Until what time can I use my room on the departure day?
Our checkout time is 11AM.
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are generally allowed - but only on request and availability in the Deluxe room category in the Galeria area (not valid for the Alpenrose Deluxe room category). These rooms are equipped with a terrace for our guests with dogs, with a view towards Hohenschwangau Castle. There is a charge of EUR 25.00 per dog per night (this already includes a place for your four-legged friend to sleep).
Dogs are not allowed in the Restaurant Lisl - alternatively we welcome you and your four-legged friend in our Restaurant Schloss Bräustüberl or the Ludwig Bar.
Are interconnecting rooms available?
We do not offer connecting rooms. For the stay with your family, we recommend a family suite with a capacity for max. 5 people.
Up to what age do children stay overnight for free?
Children up to the age of 5 years stay overnight free of charge.
What bed sizes do you offer?
Our double rooms offer two beds, each 90 cm wide and 200 cm long. These beds can also be placed as twin beds on request (not possible in the Lisl building). The single rooms in the Lisl building have queen-size beds 140 cm wide and 200 cm long.
Do you have baby cots?
Please let us know in advance if you need a baby cot in your room. They are subject to availability.

Are accessible-rooms available?
We have 2 handicapped friendly rooms in our hotel.
Do you have bed linen suitable for allergic people?
All our bed linen is suitable for allergic people.
Can I use the 4 elements spa free of charge?
Yes, as our hotel guest, you enjoy complimentary access to the 4 elements spa by Althoff. Relax in the saunas, pool, or elegant relaxation areas and leave the everyday behind. For additional pampering, massages and other treatments can be booked individually.
Are there towels in the spa area?
We are happy to provide you with towels for the use of the spa area free of charge. Each guest will have a bathrobe in the room.
How can I book a table?
To reserve a table in one of our restaurants, please contact reservations(at)ameron-neuschwanstein.de. A table reservation in advance is required.
Is there a special diet for my food intolerance?
If you have an incompatibility of any food, please indicate this at the moment of booking. We offer e.g. gluten-free foods for breakfast.
Is there a charge for city tax?
Yes, the city tax will be charged with EUR 1.90 per person and night.
Is it possible to use the spa area after check-out?
On the day of arrival, you can use our 4 elements spa free of charge from 3:00 pm before check-in. On the day of departure, you can continue to use the 4 elements spa after check-out at 11:00 am for EUR 10,00 per person.
Where can I park my bike?
You can safely park your bikes in our hotel's bike room. We also offer charging stations for e-bikes here. The bike room is only accessible to hotel guests and use is free of charge.
Sustainability
We are committed to sustainable development and strive to minimise our ecological footprint.
We would therefore like to encourage you to actively participate in our environmental protection programme by opting out of daily room cleaning. You can already do this when booking via the website by ticking the box "For the sake of the environment..." tick box. Or you can decide individually on-site by handing in the card provided in your room at the reception. As a thank-you for opting out of room cleaning, you will receive a drink voucher for the Ludwig Bar.
