Pilgrimage Church of St. Coloman Church

The pilgrimage church St. Coloman is located in the open country on the road to Hohenschwangau at the foot of Neuschwanstein Castle - on the way to us you can already enjoy a first glance! It is named after an Irish pilgrim - the holy St. Coloman is worshipped as patron saint for diseases of man and cattle. The exact date of the first origins of the church is not known. The consecration of the church, which can be found today in the baroque style, is documented on the year 1495. Every year there is a festive service with a blessing of horses and a ride around. The church was last renovated in 2012.
