BOAT RENTAL AT THE ALPSEE

Just a two-minute walk from our resort hotel, you can take the oar in your own hands on the clear waters of the Alpsee.

At the Alpsee boat hire you can choose between a rowing boat for 3 to 6 people or a pedal boat with 4 seats.

Explore King Ludwig II's favourite lake and enjoy the breathtaking view of the royal castles and the surrounding nature.

Open from May to October and in good weather from 10.00 to 19.00.

SWIMMING IN THE ALPSEE
THE ALPSEE BATHING

Pure idyll - after a 15-minute walk from our resort hotel, through the forest along the Alpsee, you will reach the Alpsee bath.

Perfectly situated directly on the lake and surrounded by beautiful nature, this is the perfect place to relax. Here you can enjoy a peaceful day of swimming on the green sunbathing lawns, let off steam in the crystal-clear water and enjoy the view of Neuschwanstein Castle and Hohenschwangau Castle.

The Alpseebad is open daily (weather permitting) from 10.00 to 19.00.

SCHWANSEE IN SCHWANGAU

The Schwansee is located in the immediate proximity of our resort hotel and has been part of the "Alpsee, Schwansee and Faulenbacher Tal" landscape conservation area together with the Alpsee since 1956.

Due to the strong shading by the surrounding mountains, the lake freezes over faster in winter than many other lakes in the wider area and is therefore popular with ice skaters from near and far.

FORGGENSEE IN THE ALLGÄU

Our hotel is located near the Forggensee lake, which you can reach within 15 minutes by car.

In addition to various bathing spots, the Forggensee also offers the Füssener Forggensee Schifffahrt, which runs two round trips every year from 1 June to 15 October (depending on the level of the lake's reservoir).

The further you get from the southern shore of the lake on one of the Forggensee boats, the more magnificent the panoramic view of the mountains of the Allgäu, Ammergau, Lechtal and Tannheim Alps, the royal castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau and the silhouette of Füssen.
