Hop on a bike and explore Hamburg: follow the River Elbe as far as Blankenese, cycle around the Alster, or ride through the Alte Land. Depending on availability, you can hire bikes right outside the hotel; the reception will be happy to put together a packed lunch for your trip on request. Your own bikes can be stored safely in a lockable bike shed.
