In the middle of it all instead of just being there: a trip to the historic Speicherstadt is a must during your stay in Hamburg. It has been a listed building since 1991 and, together with the Kontorhaus district, has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since July 2015. There are also fantastic views from our roof terrace.

A wonderful experience is the evening light tour through the historic Speicherstadt and the sea of lights of the harbor. It is an unforgettable view to admire the city in its nocturnal colors, which additionally offer a beautiful photo motif.

Ahoy! Already in our hotel you will find numerous exhibits and loans from the International Maritime Museum. Located directly at the Brooktorhafen a few minutes walk from the hotel you can browse through 3000 years of maritime history and modern research.

After 9 years of construction, the Elbphilharmonie has been the "new landmark" of Hamburg since 2017. On the plaza you have a beautiful view over the port of Hamburg and over the historic Speicherstadt. Especially at sunrise or late in the evening at darkness, the atmosphere is unique.

Along the harbor with the bike or with the ferry line 62 to the Elbe beach - the approximately 13km long beach invites you to a beautiful walk along the Elbe and provides double vacation feeling in the Hanseatic city!

You want to travel the world for a while? On 1545m², spread over 3 floors and 11 sections, you can travel from Hamburg's Landungsbrücken to Rio de Janeiro, all in a few hours. The Miniature Wonderland is an adventure for young and old!

Smell the coffee air in the middle of the historic warehouses. Only 600m from our house is the coffee roastery, where you can taste the finest coffee.

Get out of the city and into the countryside! Discover the most beautiful corners of the "Altes Land" between half-timbered houses, white rosé blossoming cherry trees and apple trees - no matter if in spring during the blossoming season or in autumn during the apple harvest.

Simply irresistible - the Chocoversum is just a short walk from the hotel and is a treat for young and old! On 1200sqm exhibition space in the middle of the World Heritage Site, a tour takes you from the cocoa bean to sweet gold through the sweet world of chocolate.
