Every three years on the first weekend in July, the Züri Fäscht attracts around 2.5 million visitors to Zurich with a mixture of folk festival, fair, music and parties. While in August there is dancing around the Zurich lake basin at the incomparable Street Parade. In October, connoisseurs can sample the latest wine from the region on a hike around Lake Zurich. And if you visit Zurich in December, you will experience a magical Christmas with many Christmas markets, the "Märlitram" and wonderful traditions. Whether spring, summer, autumn or winter: Zurich is beautiful in every season.

A wealth of interesting sights and events of all kinds make Zurich a popular destination for city breaks. The twin spires of the 13th-century Grossmünster tower over the medieval backdrop of the Old Town, over 60 metres high. In the middle of the river stands the baroque Town Hall with its ornate black marble portal. Cross the historic Münsterbrücke bridge to reach the left side of the Limmat and the Fraumünster church, which is adorned with world-famous windows by Marc Chagall.
Zurich Opera House
The Zurich Opera House, just a few steps away from the hotel, is the smallest of the world's great opera houses, seating around 1100 people.

Zurich is not only home to important institutions such as the Opera House or the Kunsthaus. Many small cultural enterprises, events and initiatives ensure a lively cultural scene in Zurich. The idyllic animal world at Zurich Zoo has been on display on the Zürichberg for 90 years. Up to 4000 animals live there, distributed among 350 species. The Zoo offers special highlights for young and old: The Masoala Rainforest with an area of 11,000 m², the KAENG KRACHAN Elephant Park with a unique view of the elephant enclosure and also the aquarium with over 70 different species of fish.
