A wealth of interesting sights and events of all kinds make Zurich a popular destination for city breaks. A trip to the 869-metre-high Uetliberg is well worth it. Enjoy a magnificent view of Lake Zurich from its observation tower.
The idyllic animal world at Zurich Zoo has been on display on the Zürichberg for 90 years. Up to 4000 animals live there, distributed among 350 species. The Zoo offers special highlights for young and old: The Masoala Rainforest with an area of 11,000 m², the KAENG KRACHAN Elephant Park with a unique view of the elephant enclosure and also the aquarium with over 70 different species of fish.
