KAPELLBRÜCKE

The Chapel Bridge is Lucerne's landmark and, at 202.90 metres, is not only the oldest, but also the second longest covered wooden bridge in Europe. In 1993, the Chapel Bridge was almost completely burnt down in a fire and was subsequently rebuilt in record time. This event made the Chapel Bridge even more famous than it already was.

LION MONUMENT

At 2132 metres, Mount Pilatus is Lucerne's local mountain. The mountain can be reached either via Alpnachstad on the world's steepest cogwheel railway or by panoramic gondola and aerial cableway from Kriens. Both are possible with the Golden Round Trip.
