AMERON Davos Swiss Mountain Resort
At the AMERON Davos Swiss Mountain Resort, your four-legged companion is welcome in every room category. We have prepared everything to make your dog feel right at home from the very first moment: a blanket and food bowl are ready and waiting for your companion. Additionally, you can use our "Dog in Room" signs to indicate when your pet is in the room. As your dog is just as much a guest as you are in Davos, he is welcome to join you in the Scaletta Bar.
Adventure awaits right outside the hotel doors: endless hiking trails and mountain routes are ready to be explored by you and your four-legged friend. Even a short morning walk before or after breakfast on our sun terrace makes for a wonderful start to the day. From there, set off towards Landwasser or take a stroll around the Kurpark. Breathtaking views await you at the crystal-clear Davosersee and the Hohe Promenade, from which you can take in the mountain world in all its splendour.
Fancy a longer excursion? Set off from Davos Dorf and plan the approximately four-hour hike to the Dürrboden Hütte. Dogs are warmly welcome here, allowing you both to recover together after the demanding ascent. If a classic Alpine climb is more to your taste, the route to Alp Garfiun is a wonderful alternative. The paths up are well-maintained and after an approximately three-hour hike, a restaurant with stunning views awaits you at the top. Start your journey in Klosters, approximately 15 minutes from our hotel.

AMERON Luzern Hotel Flora
Lucerne is one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland and your dog is just as welcome to experience it as you are. At the AMERON Luzern Hotel Flora, your four-legged companion is welcome in every room category. A sleeping cushion, food bowl, and a "Dog in Room" door sign are already waiting for him. In the evening, your dog is welcome to join you at the restaurant BACiO della MAMMA — located directly in the hotel, with no detours required.
Those who set out early in the morning will find green spaces right on the doorstep: the Vögeligärtli and the Inseli-Park are within walking distance of the hotel and are ideal for the first walk of the day. For a little more freedom, the city offers three designated off-lead zones. The largest of these is the Allmend, with its own network of paths, benches, and shade. At Churchillquai, an enclosed zone along the lakeshore awaits, complete with water access.
Those who wish to venture further afield have plenty of choice: the Rigi Panoramaweg offers an incomparable view over Lake Lucerne across seven kilometres. The sixth stage of the Waldstätterweg from Bürgenstock to Beckenried is also a rewarding day's hike at 14 kilometres — with wide paths and dog-friendly places to stop along the way. Those who prefer a more leisurely pace can explore the green pre-Alpine landscape around Gettnau and Ohmstal — flat, shaded, and ideal for smaller or older dogs alike.
On warm days, Lake Lucerne beckons. The region around Weggis offers several dog-friendly bathing spots — from the tranquil Felsberg to the Rachmaninoff Quai with its lakeside promenade.
AMERON Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort & Spa
Nestled in the heart of the Allgäu Alps, with views over the Alpsee and the royal castles, the AMERON Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort & Spa is the perfect starting point for shared adventures.
The dog-friendly Deluxe rooms in the Galeria area feature their own terrace with direct access to the outdoors — ideal for starting the day without delay. Upon arrival, a dog bed, bowls, and a treat tin will already be waiting for you in the room.
Right on the doorstep, the Alpsee circular trail begins — six kilometres along the crystal-clear lake with a stunning mountain panorama. Those in search of more elevation can tackle the ascent to the Tegelberg and enjoy breathtaking views of the castles along the panoramic "Königsrunde" trail. On warm days, an excursion to the Großer Alpsee near Immenstadt or the Forggensee near Füssen is well worth the trip — both feature designated dog-friendly beaches. And throughout the day, your dog is welcome to accompany you at the Restaurant Schloss Bräustüberl and the Ludwig Bar.
AMERON Bonn Hotel Königshof
Situated directly on the banks of the Rhine, with views over the river and the gentle hills of the Siebengebirge, the AMERON Bonn Hotel Königshof enjoys an enviable location. The Rhine promenade is within easy reach and is lined with green spaces — perfect for a leisurely stroll along Germany's busiest inland waterway. And your dog will feel just as at home in your room, where a cosy dog blanket and a bowl are ready and waiting.
Those wishing to venture a little further will find the Rheinaue leisure park on the opposite bank of the river, approximately five kilometres away. A network of paths totalling 45 kilometres winds through the park, offering ample opportunity for an extended walk with your four-legged companion. Please note that dogs must be kept on a lead throughout this green space.
For a longer excursion, a trip to the Siebengebirge is well worth the journey — reachable in approximately 20 minutes. The nature park is one of the most beautiful hiking areas in North Rhine-Westphalia and is generally dog-friendly. Particularly recommended is the circular route from Oberdollendorf through the Siebengebirgswald, with the option to stop for a break at the Einkehrhaus Waidmannsruh. The ascent to the Drachenfels, with its sweeping views over the Rhine and the surrounding landscape, also makes for a rewarding day trip.

What should I keep in mind when arriving at the hotels with my dog?
On the hotel premises, we kindly ask you to keep your four-legged companion on a lead. The same applies to the surrounding area, particularly in nature reserves (such as the region around Hohenschwangau) or urban environments. Dogs are welcome in many restaurants and bars; however, exceptions do apply. Please enquire at the front desk upon arrival for further information.
